The delicious breakfast and easy check-in made for a pleasant experience, and the room had a great size and a lovely view of the hills.

The rooms are beautifully furnished and brand new. The hotel offers a delicious full English breakfast featuring eggs Benedict and generous portions. The staff are friendly and always strive to provide exceptional customer service.

The 1863 Restaurant With Rooms is a quirky and spotlessly clean place with a nice view over the hills behind. It's in a wonderful location in Pooley Bridge and the staff are excellent and really accommodating, going out of their way 

We stayed in a deluxe king room with a beautiful view. The bathrooms were lovely, and the stand-alone bath was amazing, quickly filled with bubbles. The staff were incredible and made the experience great.
